Kirk Realty was founded by Lee Kirk in 1989. With the help of his mother, Charlotte, and great relationships with local businesses, organizations, and the community at large, it has grown consistently through the many cycles of the real estate economy. Although he passed in2011, Chris and Jim have taken over operations and continued his legacy of property management with a personal touch.

Our team comes from a family of property managers and combined brings over 25 years of experience providing high-quality services to owners and tenants. We pride ourselves on raising the bar for quality property management in Long Beach.

Chris Kirk

Broker & CEO

Chris is a lifelong Long Beach resident and comes from a family with a decades-long history in managing and owning real estate investments. Along with running Kirk Realty, he’s a busy father taking care of his two young children.

We have built positive relationships with vendors, city inspectors, and local businesses citywide, and these relationships help ensure your properties exceed local building code and habitability requirements.

DETAILED REPORTING

Kirk Realty maintains its accounting system through AppFolio, a secure, robust, cloud-based platform which maintains its accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting functions. Each month you will receive a packet with an Owner Statement, detailing all rents received and expenses incurred, along with copies of all invoices, statements, and correspondence that pertain to the management of the property. We can also provide additional reporting depending on your accounting needs, from cash flow statements to expense registers, at no additional cost to you. We keep copies and originals of all receipts, so if you can’t find a particular item during tax season, we have you covered.

ACCESSIBLE STAFF

Kirk Realty prides itself on being accessible to our clients and our tenants. We believe in clear, open communication and promptly respond to all phone and email contact. We provide a 24 hour emergency line for plumbing emergencies for our residents. All staff are cross trained in every aspect of management, so any person at the office can address most needs at the point of contact.

    Our office is open from 9am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Feel free to stop by, give us a call, or use the contact form below.

  • How do I pay my rent?

    Log into your online portal to pay your rent. If you are not yet registered, please create an account here!


    You can also call our office anytime with our 24 Hour Maintenance request line or send us an email.

  • How do I submit a maintenance request?

    Please submit a maintenance request through the tenant portal

    1. From the Home or Maintenance tab, click Request Maintenance.
    2. Enter a detailed description of the issue, upload one or more photos of the item needing attention, give the property manager permission to enter with their key, then click Submit Request.

  • How can I Apply For An Apartment?

    To apply, submit the attached Applications, Qualification Policy, and Rental Application to our office along with a color copy of your ID, $30 application fee, and proof of income to our office.
